At the MHL, the interests of the employees are represented in two staff councils: the staff council for artistic and scientific employees and the staff council for non-scientific employees.
The local Staff Council for non-scientific employees, and mediates between the University Management and staff. It is involved in all human resource decisions and concludes service agreements with the University Management in all matters affecting the working lives of the Administrative Staff. The Staff Council calls a staff meeting once a year.
