The target of MHL is to create ideal conditions for efficiently studying music. All university members aim to provide students the best possible tools for a successful music career. The University Board of the MHL governs this: a four-member independent panel, consisting of the president, two vice presidents and the chancellor. University Board members are elected by the Senate. They are dedicated to different business areas and are responsible as a whole for all university-related matters. The University Board is supported by an efficient administration, divided into different functional areas that keep the university business up and running.
